Job Description

Advertising executives liaise with clients and agency staff in the administration of advertising campaigns and the co-ordination of associated work. These executives work closely with advertising managers to develop creative, consistent brand-specific ad campaigns.

The Job Scope

  • Negotiating time-scales and deadlines
  • Monitoring work progress and keeping in contact with clients at all stages
  • Delivering final product for review

Academic Requirement

Degree in Advertising Management

  • STPM
    2 Principal Passes with 4 Credit Passes at SPM
  • A-Level
    2 Passes
  • Unified Examination Certificate
    Grade B in 5 subjects
  • Canadian Pre-University
    An average of 50%
  • South Australian Matriculation
    Minimum average of 60%
  • Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT)
    Minimum average of 60%

Salary Range

    A Junior Executive in the field of advertising can expect a salary of between RM2,500.
    Based on campaign performances, you can be promoted to Senior Executive with 4+ years of experience with a salary ranging from RM 4,500 to RM 6,000.
    As a Senior Manager in advertising, you may take up roles in business development, project management and strategic planning. With a total experience of at least 8 years & above, salary can range between RM 12,000 to RM 20,000.
